Srinagar, Jun 12 (KNO): Police in Shopian on Thursday said to have secured eight convictions in separate criminal cases and ensured Community Service punishment for nine individuals involved in minor offences, under the New Criminal Laws.
“The convictions were recorded in cases registered in Police Station Heerpora FIR No’s. 33/2024, 48/2024, Police Station Shopian FIR No’s. 113/2024, 02/2025, 104/2024 and Police Station Zainapora FIR No’s 86/2024, 85/2024, 97/2024,” a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
These outcomes have been achieved across various police stations of the district following comprehensive investigation and timely prosecution.
